PGL Major Singapore 2026: List of Teams
No teams have qualified for the PGL Major Singapore 2026 yet. Invites are strictly governed by the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), completely eliminating the traditional RMR qualification tournaments. To ensure that the absolute sharpest, most in-form rosters take the stage in the Lion City, PGL has set the final VRS roster cut-off for November 2, 2026. Because the official team list is directly tied to this late-autumn ranking lock, the full, finalized team sheet of 32 global contenders will be locked in and announced immediately following the November deadline.
PGL Major Singapore 2026: Format & Schedule
The PGL Major Singapore 2026 features a multi-week format designed to test the consistency and endurance of the world’s best rosters. Spanning from November 25 to December 13, 2026, the tournament is structured into a grueling marathon of four distinct stages. The competition utilizes a punishing Swiss System for its opening phases before transitioning into a high-stakes, single-elimination bracket for the live finals.
The tournament will progress through the following schedule and formats:
- Stage 1: A 16-team Swiss System format. Elimination and advancement matches are Best-of-Three (Bo3), while opening matches are sharp Best-of-One (Bo1) showdowns. The top 8 teams survive to advance, while the bottom 8 are eliminated.
- Stage 2: The surviving 8 teams meet a new batch of seeded rosters in another 16-team Swiss System pool (Bo1 openers, Bo3 deciders). Once again, only the top 8 progress.
- Stage 3: Final 16-team Swiss Format group. The surviving rosters clash under the same structure, fighting desperately for one of the coveted top 8 slots that secure a ticket to the main arena.
- Playoffs: (December 10–13): The action moves to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for a spectacular four-day live finale. The final 8 teams enter a ruthless Single-Elimination bracket. While the quarter-finals and semi-finals are played as Bo3 series, the ultimate champions will be crowned following a grueling Best-of-Five (Bo5) Grand Final on December 13.
